Writing term 4

I've been working on adverbs for my writing. (The adverbs are highlighted.)

As the big boat drifted through the the still water, the breeze gently blew. Fred Dagg was lying on his sun bathing chair. He suddenly heard a loud splashing noise in the water they were quite near the Shoar. He sat up and got off his chair. Every time he stepped forward the splashing got louder. (Splash splash! SPLASH!).

Fred went all the way to the back of the boat and saw a huge great white shark jumping happily up and down in the water and eating all the fish. There were some other people watching this crazy happening. Then the huge shark jumped out of the water and violently dragged a lady into the water. The lady screamed crazily. The Fred saw the whole length of the shark he thought it was about 7.5m long.

Fred thought he had to save her because all of the other people were screaming and running around the boat. But his weakness was water he had to try he jumped into the water and the same shark came and try to bite him so he grabbed the shark fin and punched it. This made the shark dropped the lady Fred ripped off one of the bars of the boat and shoved it in the Shark's mouth so it couldn't close it. He swam down and got the lady and put her on the boat and got back on the boat.

Fred asked if  the driver could turn the boat around so they could all go home and be safe. THE END

Olympic recount women's sevens

This is my recount about the women's rugby sevens tournament
                         |
On Saturday most of the people in the world sat at home and watched the women's sevens NZ VS SPAIN. In the first five minutes, NZ scored a try and got the conversion. Then Spain scored a try and missed the conversion.

In the next ten minutes,NZ started giving it their all and made five tries and got four conversions and missed the fifth conversion. New Zealand's winger was really fast because she could get past everyone.

At the end of the game a player from NZ jumped onto the other players and yelled “we won!” then walked over to Spanish team and said “you suckers” and got tackled by the guard.

Writing term three

WALT: use more details after a comma
Here is my recount.

In the holidays dad and me went motorbiking with his friend and his son. When we got to the motorbiking track we got our motorbikes my motor bike was a 100cc and dad was a 450cc. We then started riding. After about half an hour we had some food and water then me and Shilo had a race and he won.

We then went on the track and raced around.
Then this girl came and showed us new ways to go around the track. My dad started motorbiking and we followed him around the river. We then went back onto the track.

I zoomed around the track and then did a big jump and crashed into the dirt. I had some crackers then raced off and did a huge slide. My dad caught up to me and we both motor biked off down the long rocky track,“Wait up dad”I said “OK” said dad. It was now 3.00 so we put our motor bikes on the trailer and went back home to help mum with Benji.

Writing

We could write whatever we wanted to but it had to include a duck a jandal and a key.
This is mine.

Bob the poor little Duckie.

Once there lived a young duck called Bob,he was very poor. One day he went into a big hotel and begged the person behind the desk to give him a room key
“Please give me a room key” he wailed. Once he said that 100 times she gave him a key so he went to room. When he looked inside the room it looked amazing. There was a double bed and a big fridge and a bathroom and a balcony. At 8:00 he got into his bed and lay down but there was something hard in the bed. He sat up and saw a jandal. “Wow a shoe” said Bob. This was his first time to get any clothes. Once he left the hotel he went back to living on the streets with no money. Sadly a year later someone found him dead on the streets.
“I think he died of hunger” said a lady.
